This expanding sponge, crafted from 100% biochar cotton, is eco-conscious and fertile, promoting plant development. Unlike conventional seedling soil, our expanding sponge is pH balanced, highly absorbent, and adept at retaining moisture. It is ideal for facilitating germination, enabling soil-free, tidy, year-round indoor cultivation.

A small opening is designed at the top of the expanding sponge to prevent seeds from dropping into the water. The hydroponic sponge features small channels around it to facilitate water circulation and maintain optimal humidity levels, ensuring adequate water supply for seed germination. The seed starting sponges are kept dry for convenient storage.

Ideal for a variety of hydroponic cultivation setups, these sponges are versatile and can be utilized in seedling trays and pots. They are also compatible with grow baskets and seed starter systems. The soaked sponge measures 2.56 inches in height and 0.9 inches in diameter.

To replace the old sponge, remove it and insert the new one. Let the sponge soak for 3-5 minutes before using it. The kit includes 50/100 planting sponges, 10 plastic plant tags, and 1 pair of tweezers for starting multiple seeds simultaneously. Please note that seeds are not included.
